(1) To lead a moral life,
(2) To be mindful and aware of thoughts and actions, and
(3) To develop wisdom and understanding.

I see when we are acting only from personality point of few, that is the evil everyone speaks about.
Realization that there is more to/in us, gives the perspective to understand the unity of everything.

I agree with that philosophy
I think all Religions are the philosohy of man.
Religion was the first form of government.
there is no proof that God has anything to do with any religion.
God gave us Free will.
To make our own chioces.
And we learn ...

I've spent a lot of times with Buddhists,
sometimes in monasteries, like Dai Bosatsu Zendo, Tassajara
and Green Gulch and have many Buddhist friends.
My daughter is named Tara, after the Tibetan
goddess, and she was kissed by the Dalai Lama when ...
