It was there that the extraordinary Khmer civilization flourished until the 14th century. Today, the proud Khmer bloodlines, and Khmer traditions of architecture, science, art and spirituality still resonate throughout the modern lands of Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam.

We invite you to join us contributing positive articles about Southeast Asian art, music, dance, architecture, folk traditions, literature, crafts, history, spirituality and culture. This group is NOT focused on politics, war, crime, the Khmer Rouge or modern pop culture except where it relates to the areas above. Thank you for your interest!
