The short answer, you don't. The notify friends feature has been removed and the find friend's stories has also been removed. The long answer, you bang around until you get the little search for members window on the left side of your screen, enter the name of the friend in question, then, assuming you don't get a 500 error page, you go to their page and click "Submissions" and then you can see what they submitted.
