About Me - Andy Wendt - I feel very fortunate to have been born in the greatest country on earth in 1963. I was brought up in a middle class family and have lived in the same small town in South West Ohio my entire life. My father, the son of German Immigrants from the 1920's, served during the Korean War where he received training that lead to a career as a field engineer for IBM. After over 30 years he retired in the late 1980's. My mom was a full time housewife who spent her days seeing that my sister and I both enjoyed our childhood & received the best possible education. After grammar school I attended Anderson College and Miami University where I studied Systems Analysis and General Business. While working my way through school in the mid 80's I took my fist full time position with CFR Inc, a Technology Rental Company with headquarters in Middletown Oh. After 5 years as a tech. I was promoted to Service Manager and years later Vice President of Operations. I have been with CFR Inc now for 20 years. At the age of 38 I was blessed with our first child. A son Nathan Andrew who is a constant joy.
