During the flame wars of the old Netscape and early Propeller, I hesitated to be anyone's friend for fear of their getting hurt while I swung my sword like a madman.

I am in a place to be much friendlier now and am very open.

This goes out to all my old pals like puffin, ciere-marie, goppy, davidnwpa, populist (that radical), and all the rest who have fought for sense and fairness, who I would like to make my friends now...

I recently recovered from terminal Leukemia in a way that surprised all the doctors, in speed and being in the 99th percentile of no infections etc., and they attributed it to my POSITIVE ATTITUDE(!) I thought THAT would give long time commenters and posters quite a chuckle.

Propeller gets better all the time and I welcome new readers, commenters, and posters but may fall into old habits sometimes and say something for shock value (or shove hate back at a real hater, like the old days : )

  Crespi, I just came across your bio - 'home page' - or whatever and feel proud that you consider me a friend. I was also surprised and mortified that you had experienced a bout of ill health. (I must do more to keep up with everyone.)

  Good to see you out and about Crespi! The flame wars were something else, I marveled at the Bush supporters as their numbers declined. We went from being a beat up small minority to a majority and I think the logic and articles we posted had something to do with it.
