The following are a few of the maxims important in my life. Funny that most of my Friends don't understand my need for honor & independence. The quotations are all Cervantes, and a part of my Dad. That is a bit comical as Cliff wasn't well read and felt uncertain of my future. I remember 'La Mancha' as the first 'educational show' we watched together. I had the books too. I think Dad knew I would have to push much harder to my goals.
Thanks Dad for the Drive.
He who loses wealth loses much; he who loses a friend loses more; but he that loses his courage loses all.
A person dishonored is worst than dead.
Liberty, as well as honor, man ought to preserve at the hazard of his life, for without it life is insupportable.
Those who'll play with cats must expect to be scratched.
Never stand begging for that which you have the power to earn.
-Miguel de Cervantes
