A scientist. My job is to discover how the universe works and describe it with a theory that makes perfect predictions. You have to go through all the wrong predictions first to finally make the perfect ones. That means a theories first job is to show where the logical and observational discrepancies to it are; then you can use the difference between the measurement you predicted to remove or change the part of the theory that caused the discrepancy. A theory is just a malleable set of symbols, so adjust the theory until it makes perfect predictions at the Natural Law base of our universe. The best part about the job is that you never run out of work, perfect predictions are hard to make. I have been lucky, I have made some basic discoveries. Among the Objective Measure of Value all life forms in a conserved universe use to maximize their time alive.
