To paraphrase Sam Clemens, I am an American who supports his country always and his government when it deserves it. I am a registered independent who typically votes republican, although I have little actual faith in either major party. Born, raised and educated in Massachusetts, I spent the first fifteen years of my adult life chasing The Dollar all over the globe. I returned to New England in the late spring of 2005 so I could spend the second half of my life actually living. I moved to the White Mountains of NH and took a job with a small NPO that pays me less than I made the year between high school & college. I bought a mountain bike and a kayak, some decent snowshoes, new skis, and a jeep. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.
