35 years working on oil rigs, learnt to talk with my fists first before I realized that the brain is the largest muscle in the body.
Since then have had many bar room conversations, arguments; but most end with a beer and a carry on the next day, as it should be.
Firmly believe that there are two or more sides to a story, and sometimes there are valid reasons for what is a different view.
And as for politics ? well when we stop electing only one aspect of society,....lawyers...then maybe common sense will return rather than political correctness, what ever that is.

    Hello my fellow Canadian- how are you? I was out your way last month. It was the first time I had been in Calgary in over 20 years. I was attending a conference at the Hyatt on Stephen Ave so all I saw of Calgary was in a two block radius- Oh well, next time.
    Looked great though- I finished school and am officially an employee again.

    Hey HannibalBarca, you have a great point in your profile! The fact that we elect attorneys to lead this country has been our demise. Imagine how great this country would be if we put some blue collar workers in office! Seriously. Bread and butter issues would be quickly solved and America would be the most competitive nation on this planet.
