Let's Meet Our Good Pal:

I'm a recovering Republican and Baptite. Work at a Pediatric Oncology Hospital as a nurse and find myself more spiritual than religious, but at the same time a little thicker skinned than I used to be because of some traumatic life lessons. I love the life I have and live in the now. Every thing I've learned that matters I've learned from kids. Carpe Diem. The concepts anyway, the translations I learned from adults that got the lessons. I'm raising my grandson, and have my youngest at home. I'm all about personal accountablity, but sometimes you have to make people aware and educate first. My oldest still hasn't figured that out yet. She's still waiting for the 2x4 awareness to hit. Some people will always blame their current unhappiness or situation on someone else, it's just so much easier. (and it's an American illness) I'm a liberal in a lot of ways, but I'm not in others. Our system just needs so much reform. We need to start with the children. We need to reward the ones that help themselves. We to start with better education and healthcare and work from there...I will always believe if we can start with the children our world will get better. Save them from our narrow minded selves.
