Science – The IPCC will be releasing the results of it's latest climate change study in Belgium next month. Early drafts of the report indicate that things are worse than anyone thought, and that we could be fighting extinction within the next couple of decades

Music – Boston vocalist, Brad Delp, was found dead at his home in New Hampshire, following a call for help placed to the local police. At 55, Delp's passing was tragic and untimely. He planned to be married later this Summer.

Money – The US Mint has recently minted 300 Million George Washington Dollars. Of these, as many as 50,000 coins lack the phrase "In God We Trust", sparking renewed excitement among coin collectors. One of the faulty coins has already sold for $600.

News – An outbreak of tornadoes on Thursday have killed at least 20 people. More bodies are expected. Hardest hit was Enterprise, Alabama, where the local high school took a direct hit, while teachers and students were still inside.

Careers & Jobs – The security guards of Atlantic City casinos may soon have their own labor union. The International Union of Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America (SPFPA) have filed paperwork with the casino control commission to begin moving forward with the union drive.
