I am neither a conservative nor a liberal as I share views from both sides! I am also a person who is sick and tired of all the bull$hit that has come to typify American politics and the schism that exists in America today! The only thing that matters in a debate are the facts, by that I mean substantiated facts! Lies, innuendo, and hearsay have no place in an honest debate and if it is your style to use such lies, innuendo, hearsay, half-baked truths and things taken out of context during the course of one then the only thing you are proving is how shallow a person you really are! If you claim something is a "fact" and are challenged on it then have the guts to post a link to where you got your information. Other than that anything goes so if you can't take the heat don't light the fire! Opinions are, by their very nature, polarizing - live with it!

Miss. win a bigger story than W. Va.?

Politics – So what event last night was more consequential: Obama's substantial defeat in a state few had considered a general election battleground until Clinton declared it so last week? Or the GOP losing a 3rd-straight special congressional election in what was considered a solid GOP seat -- this one a Miss. district where Bush won 62% of the vote in 2004?

House GOPers Stomping Mad Over Prospects

Politics – The political situation for the GOP is not good, and they aren't even trying to deny it. Asked if Tom Davis thought there should be a change in House GOP leadership, he brought up the 2006 election and the loss of Congress, then wondered aloud why, when "the plane is being flown into the mountain," there has been no change in direction.

Oil Prices:The Nigerian Connection.

Money – Not a week passes without some news of either sabotage of Nigeria's oil industry infrastructure, or an attack on the industry's expatriate work force. Although the loss of production is usually insignificant, it permits speculators to drive up oil prices by playing on fears of long term supply disruptions.

Politics – Hagee has often made references to Catholicism as the 'great ,'. That's why it was odd that McCain sought out his endorsement so assiduously. Hagee says now he "better understood" that his use of those descriptions, are 'a rhetorical device long employed in anti-Catholic literature and commentary.'
