I am a history student in college, currently working on a degree. I plan to teach at a high school level and, perhaps, college or university depending on how far I go with my degree. I have a politically leftist economic ideology that is strongly tempered by a preference for a small government whenever possible. In other words, I believe we as a society have a moral obligation to help the poor and to create opportunities for the poor to help themselves through education which, hopefully, could help end generational welfare issues. I tend to take a socially liberal to libertarian stance on most non-economic issues.

I have been busy the last few months but hope to participate to a limited extent again in the coming weeks.
