The idea of a god
Posted: 10 months, 2 weeks ago in response to Atheists Send a Message, on 800 British BusesReading this article, it struck me that believers would be horrified by the ads, and yet those of us who are non-theistic put up with much worse every day. I stopped listening to a radio station when they started running ads called "not a sermon, just a thought" which feature mini-sermons based on fundamentalist Christian beliefs. Country with freedom of/from religion

If the members of a church desire an American flag in their church, I think it's a freedom of speech statement. I feel very strongly about separation of church and state--and freedom of speech, and I can see why some churches would desire to remind its parishioners that a key reason they are free to worship as they choose is because they are located in the USA.
