Profile Picture for MongoKahn

I drove taxi-cabs in New York City and San Francisco, did heavy construction in Florida and was a hospice worker in Hawaii.I milked cows in Maine. Was a landscape gardener in Colorado. Cared for Alzheimer's patients in Special Care Units of Washington State nursing homes. I worked in a New Mexican lumber yard and drove a forklift in New Jersey. I was a roofer in North Carolina and have lived in British Columbia. I have worked for rock bands and lived in California nudist colonies. I have worked in fast food joints and hardware stores. I am 60 years old and have packed more into one life than most folks believe. I am ready to move on to the Big Mystery that awaits us all. I care not if you believe any of the above. I know the truth of it and God knows the truth of it. My opinions are not meant to sway anybody. I blog my opinions and that's the end of it. If you enjoy my rants, great! If you hate them, great! Remember that the pen is mightier than the sword. Screw guns and fighting and fussin'. Life's short enough as it is . . . And I almost forgot, I wrote and published a non-fiction book about life during The Summer of Love in the Haight-Ashbury and being the pres. of an outlaw motorcycle gang. I was 23 when I wrote it and 24 when it was published in 1971. The book can be viewed at http://thesignofthefool.com where it will be free for downloading before this summer (2007) is out.
