Profile Picture for Mysticdon

I started out in newspapers as a reporter and photographer at age 15 and have more or less done everything in the news business. I worked in Gulfport, New Orleans and Beaumont during and following hurricanes Katrina and Rita (30 days & 1 shower). I have seen a lot and sometimes the details come out when the conversation goes the right way. I am truly a news junkie and I have no patience for posers - just bring out the facts please. I'll add more to this but that's me for now. ******* This entire site has degenerated into a vast left-wing-nut-house. Any reasonable story is ignored in favor of yelling and screaming about the GOP. This is a good indication that these "critics" from the left are not interested in creating positive solutions, they just keep screaming. It is really pathetic that this is their entire contribution. But if you look at the blog-o-sphere, the place is inundated with people with more time than brains. You people need to get a life and make a positive contribution to something. ^^^^Someday there will be an answer to this question: " Why did local politicians in New Orleans, in response to complaints of cracking plaster, stop the Corps of Engineers from driving steel into the levees prior to Hurricane Katrina?"
