  About Beliefs

  Society taught us the
  importance of religion.
  
  Our beliefs have a great effect
  on our views about the world,
  people around us and to our selves.
  But we all have different views.. .
  
  Do we need to believe in one God & one religion or believe in universalism principle?
  to unify our people or our fellowmen and improve
  our relationship in other countries?
  
  We heard about the issue about the Jews,
  Muslims and Christians & other
  religion…
  Then the issue about ethnic cleansing….
  
  Is there a possibility in the future that
  all of us will live harmoniously with
  other nationality ?
  
  Or in the next 50 years will encounter
  the same problem again or much worst?
  
  As they say History repeats its self,
  so does it mean that no matter
  what our forefathers had done
  and whatever the future generation will do.
  
  We can never totally enjoy a total liberation,
  freedom and peace?
  
  So does it mean all of these things
  Won't have an ending?
  but
  a beginning, instead ?
  
  The only possible explanation
  w ill get from this context is;
  whatever human beings
  had experience in this world,
  no matter how bad and cruel the world is,
  still its all part or a role of nature…
  and no one can stop it…
  
  So does it mean that we are not in control of our own life?
  When I was in second year in high school,
  I have t his favorite poem of William Henley…
  The poem says:
  
  " Invictus"
  Out of t he night that covers me,
  black as the pit from pole to pole.
  I thank whatever God's maybe for my unconquerable soul
  
  In t he fleet clutch of circumstances.
  I had not winched, nor cried aloud
  Under the bludgeoning
  of chance, my head is blood but unbowed.
  
  Beyond t his place of wrath and tears. Looms but t he horror of the shade
  and yet the menace of years.
  Find and shall find me unafraid.
  
  It matters how not straight the gate.
  How charge with punishment the scroll.
  I am the master of my faith and I am the captain of my soul.
  
  So does this mean life is what we make it? Like a captain of t he ship?
  or let religion and our beliefs take control over us?
  Well for me the answer is,
  its either way…
  
  We can probably drive the ship, take it to the place where we want to go.
  but sometimes no matter how we say were in control, we cannot go against the weather.
  Then we ask our selves,
  "" maybe through this circumstances will determine the truth,
  the real truth…
  Does God ever exist?
  Well, its your assignment
  ( hahahaha)
  Who knows?
  
  The only thing we can do as of t he moment is to open our eyes, heart and mind.
  Filter those information and testimony.
  
  It's one of t he things that will shield and protect us from this deceiving reality of the world.
  
  Just keep going, sooner or later the truth will come from the open.. Though its also possible that the truth is already out there…
  but it just need to be in scripted and be understand by the human mind….
  
  Lets unravel , determine and discover what is true…
  and know the purpose of our existence…
  and probably know the truth of all truths ( hahhahh jk)…

  by the way about the poem Invictus, I think its one of the best great free verse poems....
  
  But are we really the master of our faith??
