Hello! I'm what most people would consider a liberal, though to me, my views are pretty common sense.

If the human race is to survive far into the future, we need a healthy environment.

History has shown that religion and government is a volatile mix, at worst ending in bloodshed for those in the minority...at best, social exile.

Irrefutable evidence proves that the War on Drugs is a complete failure, and a waste of valuable resources.

Refusing to allow gay people the right to get married, or even form civil unions, is blatant discrimination. Period.

Abortion is a necessary evil. I don't like it, you don't like it, but forcing a woman to carry a pregnancy to full term is a violation of her personal autonomy.

And, last but not least, my moral code is The Golden Rule. I don't need any gods or holy books to tell me what common sense dictates: Treat other people as you want to be treated.
