Hello! I'm what some would consider a liberal, even though my views are pretty common sense.
If the human race is to survive far into the future, we must have a healthy environment.
History has shown repeatedly that religion and government is a volatile mix, at worst ending in bloodshed for those in the minority...at best, social exile.
Irrefutable evidence proves that the War on Drugs is a failure, and a waste of resources.
The Constitution does not give the government the right to discriminate against -anyone- based on religious belief, which is why gay marriage is inevitable. Build a bridge, and get over it.
Abortion is a necessary evil. I don't like it, you don't like it, but -forcing- a woman to carry a pregnancy to full term is a violation of her personal autonomy.
And, last but not least, my moral code is The Golden Rule. I don't need any gods or holy books to tell me what common sense dictates: Treat other people as you want to be treated.
