Papa Wolf. With the Shah in Iran I agree with you whole heartedly. There were huge mistakes made by the US especially the Carter administration for which the US and the rest of the region have paid and will continue to pay a very high price. The Shah was not the brute he was made out to be. A simple apology to the Iranians could go a dammned long way in making today's Iran think.
