As an immigrant to this country, I tend to see things in a more global perspective. I am appalled at how polarized society has become over the last few years, and more importantly, how America's reputation in the rest of the world has suffered due to an incompetent government and its actions. I believe in taking care of our environment, the air we breathe and water we drink. Incentives to wean ourselves from raping the earth are bound to incubate an economic boom, much like the dot coms did in the Clinton years. I am very liberal on society issues, as long as it doesn't hurt children. Religion ought to be taken for what it is: It's the relationship of oneself with whatever imaginary friend you choose to have.
