  "Don't take my word for it. Do yourself a favor and read the Constitution. Then read what the authors of the Constitution said about what it means and how it was to be applied. You're allegedly a smart cookie (by your own account)... it shouldn't be difficult to understand what they said. And being such an intellect would make it easy for you to see just how far our Federal Government has gone beyond what the framers intended."
  
  You have ZERO respect from me. You cannot properly frame your arguments in any worthy manner.
  
  Call me an idiot, accuse me of accomodating the ruin of the Constitution, and then call me a statist! What you are doing is the very thing you contend liberals and activist judges are guilty of...interpreting. Only your view is that your interpretation is the only correct one. I happen to have a pocket copy of the Constitution that is with me most of the time. The very idea that this translates exactly as you desire to modern times or that you fully understand Madison and his co-authors intent is patently absurd. The arguments have raged over the centuries including massive bloodshed. This ignorant conservative view is revolting in its pomposity. You are nothing more than a junior Scalia.
