I have a B.S. in Plant Science, for whatever good that does me. Which is little. No demand for freelance plant biologists, it seems. So I find myself mired in the endless hell that is graduate school. If my language seems a bit preposterous, it's because I'm studying for my prelims. In general I'm a pragmatist. I don't tolerate sentimentalism in general but being a selfish pragmatist, I embrace it when it fits my needs. I try not to get myself into flames but the internet is able to reduce even the most objective person to a crap-flinging monkey, it seems.
