Route66
Route 66 attended the University of Wisconsin ~ Milwaukee seeking a degree in Communications Journalism. He never finished school but began working for Marshall & Ilsley Bank in the International Trade division. Moving on, he re-opened his interior decorating company. He later began another business to pay rent on a more regular basis... Currently, Route 66 is seeking to establish himself as a writer (aka making a living by being paid regularly)... He has been known to attend BoDeans concerts and DJ weddings and other events for friends... An avid political and news junkie, he enjoys discourse with opinionated, but open-minded individuals ~ especially over a cool brew in a neighborhood tavern... Favorites: TV: "24" and "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart"... Music: BoDeans, Bruce Springsteen, Melissa Etheridge, and Jimmy Buffett... Songs: "Please Come To Boston" [Dave Loggins], "Once In A While" [BoDeans], "Nowhere To Go" [Etheridge]... Authors: Dean Koontz and Stephen King... Books: [#3] Hearts In Atlantis (King); [#2] On The Road (Jack Kerouac); and [#1] The Grapes of Wrath (John Steinbeck)... Movies: "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1937), "The Grapes Of Wrath" (1940), "The Bishop's Wife" (1947), "Key Largo" (1948), "Harold and Maude" (1971), "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" (1986)... Restaurants: (Casual) Cheeeseburger In Paradise [Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii], The Gulf Shore Inn [Fort Myers Beach, Florida], and In & Out Burgers [numerous California locations]... (Formal) The Four Seasons (Manahttan) and "The Hollywood Brown Derby" (Since they tore down the original in Hollywood, the only great is left at Walt Disney World's Disney-MGM Studios in Florida)
