I don't believe news organizations, bloggers, or social sites should be allowed to lie, confuse, or otherwise deceive its audience. Journalists and reporters must have the right to keep their news sources confidential. A Fairness Doctrine must be reinstated to end the communication hate trend.
U.S. Healthcare delivery is finally under examination.
The U.S. educational system must undergo the same type of reorder to make our students global competitors.
America must examine and be told the truth about the private business called the Federal Reserve.
We all must support the new President and quash reactionary bickering.

RE: When I was an active journalist ...
Thank you for sharing your thoughts dotsie_d. I have memories of great instances of great journalism when I left the U.S. When I returned after serving with the government civilian work force overseas (20+ years) I was stunned at what I saw/heard. My question to what few friends I cultivated was ... WTF happened to the news?? Nobody understood what I was asking. Maybe I didn't ask the right question. Maybe nothing 'happened' to the news. Maybe this political 'fracturing' of my country and obvious editorial-spin television news broadcasting/reporting and radio programming was a natural progression. Maybe I developed a mental bias having listened to too much BBC, Al Jez, and other foreign news orgs. I have been back in the U.S. since December. I am mentally exhausted examining the various news sources --- CNN, MSNBC, NPR --- and have come to conclude that they all, except NPR, have either sold out or been bought out. NPS is not without sin, either.
You are forever a journalist. You will always use your critically trained eye and mind to sort through to the truth. Hopefully you will make your voice of reason heard on the Propeller site.

Well, we have to admit media is lying to us and wants us to see what they want us to see, right? However, that doe not mean we can't fight it right. I agree with you rumple4skin and will keep reading your stuff as long as you post something.
