RussianThreats

Since so many have commented on my username, I would like to dispel a few untruths: I set up this Netscape/AOL account years ago when I was actively playing an historical strategy game online. The handle I used in that game was Russianthreats, due to the fact that I usually played as the Russian/Novgorod faction in the game. So: 1) I am not Russian. 2) I have never been to Russia. 3) I do not plan on visiting/moving to Russia. 4) I DO however like to read about Russian history. 5) I do appreciate the rich cultural heritage of Russia. Cheers!

Disturbing Stirrings: Ratcheting Up For War On Iran

Do No Evil – With Iraq still raging and hawkishness over Iran heating up, it's disquieting to think what's coming, and it's got Middle East leaders uneasy. Not about Iran, but about a rogue administration with over eight months left to incinerate the region in a mushroom-shaped cloud and no hesitation about doing it.
