After Interior Dept assignments, my father changed over to the State Dept. & was appointed Dir. of AID to Pakistan - I grew up thinking Air America was a normal airline.
But it was those assignments & later mine that I had a better weltanschauungen of American political & strategical strengths and weaknesses.
