Viruses will be used as a food additive

Travel – FDA has just approved the use of a mix of bacteria-killing viruses as a food additive to kill bacteria. The viruses, called bacteriopahges, may be sprayed on cold cuts, wieners and sausages to combat common microbes that kill hundreds of people a year.
