Life is always worth living, love your life and it will love you back.

I’m center to right of center on most issues, and left of center on a few as well.

I do tend to vote more right than left but have voted for Republicans, Democrats and Independents. The Republicans and Democrats have major problems as of today; neither is all holy or evil but a mixture of both. Both have done good and evil and both are very broken and need to be overhauled and both need to refocus on we the people more than ‘their party’. We not only need a third, but a fourth party of good folks. Why out of 300,000,000 in this country, can we not find 1,000 better people than what we have at the helm of the Good Ship America?

Hey Slate, You sound like a smart guy. I totally agree with your politics. I voted Rep but we lost. so I just hope Obama does well for our country. He sure promised a lot. I have always told my kids and grandkids, "life is what you make it" There is a lot of trouble in the world today. bad time to raise kids. there are so many of our young kids on drugs today. If something isn't done to control this, I don't know what their future will be like. You seem like a very bright person, can you think of anything we can do to get this evil stuff stopped? Law doesn't do much, money is the root of all evil. It is mostly painkillers, some of these Drs are making a killing off of killing our kids. Isn'there something that can be done?

Lurch, ya know me and Slate have locked horns on all kinds of topics, I've even quipped that his head is full of his namesake!!!
But on the Ted Kennedy issue you are wrong, guy... Slate jumped on a couple of NeoConArtists who were gloating over Teds misfortune...
...Cancer...imagine for a minute your body starts going haywire...you start losing body functions...sight, hearing,bladder and bowel control, control over your extremeties...now imagine someone pumping your veins full of naptha...(Lighter fluid) and someone lights a match...
I've lost 6 relatives to various forms of cancer...I'll not wish it on ANYONE...now if he was gonna be screwed to death; I'd say "Poetic Justice"!!!
