I have a wonderful family here in Baltimore ... my beautiful wife Lisa, my age six-going-on-16 daughter Anna and stepson Steven. (Oh, and our Boston terrier Charlie and our bird, Sir Chirps.) We live in the Hampden neighborhood in a house that's 126 years old (and decades ago it was a funeral home).

Love your blog post, "Tired of Your Home Looking Like A Chain Store?" I've always thought this about a lot of folks who like the "modern" look, but never articulated this into words. The closest analogy I came up with is the interior look of a "hotel lobby," which is what often happens when you entrust your home to an interior designer
