I live in Scotland in the lovely area where William of Wallace (Mel Gibson's Braveheart) won his famous battle and gave heart to the Scottish battle for freedom. Born in northern England, most of my life was spent in the US - several places, so that I have an accent no matter where I go.

Having lived with severe iatrogenic illness and pain, but surviving it, has strongly affected my life and views. I'm passionate about issues of ethical trade, climate change and the environment, and health. I believe that all these issues are linked, in truth are the same issue - a society gone mad.

Before illness, my work was as a computer programmer, technical writer, training developer, website designer...and so forth. Since illness, I've become a homeopath and combine my old skills with new ones in my website, Gaia Health.
