Politics – In the days leading up to Pennsylvania's primary, white males ΓΆβ;¬" those knuckle-dragging, chaw-chompin', beer-swillin' bitter troglodytes ΓΆβ;¬" were suddenly the debutante's delight. Bottom line: It's hard to woo people you don't really love.
Religion – I joined a megachurch in Texas Hill Country to get a look inside the evangelical mindset that gave the country eight years of George W. Bush. We don't get to see the batty world they live in, when the cameras are turned off and their pastors are not afraid of saying the really dumb stuff, for fear of it showing up on TV. I feared for my normal.

Politics – The Pennsylvania Primary was Hillary Clinton's last chance to deliver a game changing blow to Obama's campaign for the nomination. She failed to deliver. Pennsylvania provided her with her final real opportunity to knock the wheels off the Obama campaign. She needed a crushing victory of 18% to 25% to have any real chance of altering the math...

Politics – Hillary Clinton's Pennsylvania victory means that the Democratic Party's eventual nominee will be badly bruised and could have a tough time rallying the party in the fall.

Food – I don't want to alarm anybody, but maybe it's time for Americans to start stockpiling food.
Movies – Rarely has a movie subtitle so capably assessed a movie's content as does "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed." There is not a shred of intelligence on display in this just released "documentary" purporting to be a careful examination of the fight over teaching creationism and evolution in America.
Science – Look out, Al Gore...People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals says you are refusing to face one very "inconvenient truth."
Politics – Yes We Can . . . Abort. Obama often stood alone as an Illinois lawmaker in opposition to protections for babies who survived abortion.
Religion – "How Science Shows That God Does Not Exist", by Victor J. Stenger. Well folks, I guess this settles it...
Politics – In fact, this is a potential turning point for Obama's campaign - an episode that could be even more damaging than the attention to remarks by his minister, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, since this time the controversial words came out of his own mouth.
Do No Evil – The war against Iraq, now five years old, is unquestionably one of the most unpardonable crimes against humanity.
Politics – Hillary Clinton is calling on President Bush to boycott this summer's Olympics opening ceremonies to protest China's abysmal human rights record, according to her campaign.

Politics – Barack Obama has a political "problem" with national security which is kind of like saying Howard Dean has a "problem" with voice modulation. Obama, of course, has no foreign policy training or experience (not to mention no record of military service), yet he wants to have tea with the world's dictators.

Politics – Barack Obama's career and political success are based on a black-centered approach to life. That is his right. But to now claim some race-straddling position, bridging the gap between whites and blacks as a neutral mediator, is just not believable.
Religion – Two followers of a fundamentalist Christian church that favours faith healing over conventional medicine are to be prosecuted for manslaughter after their daughter died of a treatable infection.
