Retired educator and citizen soldier. Taught government, geography and history for nearly a decade to senior high school students. Retired as a school administrator with 35 years of service working with young people. Commissioned as a 2LT in 1971, missed Vietnam. Trained as a logistician and staff officer and involved in exercises in the middle east since 1985. Volunteered for Desert Shield/ Desert Storm with combat engineers and had the priviledge of serving with the "Big Red 1." Served tours in Germany and Iceland as a staff officer. Retired as a Lieutenant Colonel with 28 years of service to nation in 1999.
