From a very early age I have enjoyed a challenge, and been competitive, at the age of 10 I qualified for the Yorkshire Championships in swimming, I then swam until the age of 16 years, holding Yorkshire and North East titles, my claim to fame was been beaten by Sharon Davies in the English schools by 0.1 of a second.
Among several sports I was also highly involved in bodybuilding, achieving 7th place at the British EFBB, in 1989: hence my interest in health & nutrition.
One concept that does need clearing up is MUSCLE + FAT are different, muscle does not turn to fat – we can chat more on that if anyone wishes.

Health, fitness, looking good – there are so many opinions, and advice out there, mine would be everything in moderation, don’t pick between meals. Positive mental attitude feeds a healthy body.
Now a mother of 5 beautiful children, actually my eldest two, who have flown the nest are beautiful successful young women.
