I enjoy reading - watching a lot of TV (mostly cable) Comedy Central - especially Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart - I do enjoy TV too in general - horror and comedy, odd mix I know but I enjoy the more suspenseful type horror - like the Omen, Alien, etc. not blood and gore for the sake of blood and gore. Really, really enjoy the BBC - they have a great mix of shows - I especially enjoy the comedies on BBC - the Kumars at No. 42, Little Britain and some of the oldies but goodies from Great Britain - Fawlty Towers, Are You Being Served, etc.. Wow - I like a lot of TV! Also Discover and the Planet Earth type shows, documentaries, etc. Wow I really like TV and DVDs - but it's a pretty cheap form of entertainment. But TV is of course no substitute for human company - and what you can learn from books - fiction and non-fiction. When I get together with friends we usually play board games - or games in general - Monopoly - I usually win at Monopoly - Scrabble (wow I won at Scrabble the other night - got 63 points for just one word - I usually don't win at Scrabble) - enjoy all types of games when hanging out with friends - if we don't play games, usually have a few drinks and hang out and listen to music. I am a peaceful person. Don't have time for hatred. Love animals. I am generally an optimistic person. I genuinely like a lot of people - just don't have time for the people who are bigots, liars, hypocrites, genuinely miserable people who would rather bring you down to their level. My mama didn't raise no fools! I'm a scorpio and it is true - mostly an all or nothing kind of attitude when it comes to liking or disliking something!

Politics – President Bush went on foreign soil today, and committed what I consider an act of political treason: Comparing the candidate of the U.S. opposition party to appeasers of Nazi Germany -- in the very nation that was carved out from the horrific calamity of the Holocaust.

Do No Evil – After guards from Blackwater Worldwide protecting a State Department convoy killed at least 17 Iraqis in a hail of bullets last September, we hoped the Bush administration would rethink the folly of relying on mercenaries, who have no accountability to Iraqi or American law.

Politics – I might have used any number of titles to describe this sermon by Pastor John Hagee, given in the late 1990's and then mass marketed as part of a book Hagee published in 2001 and republished in 2003, "The Battle For Jerusalem".
