Santa Gets Fired for Laughing
Do No Evil – It looks like Australia was serious when it said it didn't want its Santa's saying "Ho, ho, ho," the traditional Santa laugh. I wrote about that earlier in mid-November, when protesters targeted Westaff, a company that supplies hundreds of Santas in Sydney, for wanting its Santas to use the phrase "Ha, ha, ha" instead.

You find that your enemies do not go anywhere, they may distance themselves from you for a while but they are there waiting for something unsavory to happen to you and they would reemerge to remind you that they are still your enemy.

'God's Basic Training' Coming Under Fire
Do No Evil – The warriors pose for the camera - holding their weapons in one hand and their holy book in another. A poster calls for the killing of enemy leaders and forcing the defeated people to convert. If you think the images come from Islamic fundamentalist training camps in remote regions of the Middle East you'd be wrong.

Media Consolidation: Cons and Cons
Do No Evil – Today's decision would make George Orwell proud. We claim to be giving the news industry a shot in the arm, but the real effect is to reduce total news-gathering. Rather than reviving the media, consolidation has led to less diversity of opinion and ownership, less serious political coverage, fewer jobs for journalists, and the list goes on.
