Christian Nation: Bush Moves Big Bucks to Religious Organizations

A Town. A Lawn. A Bush Shaped Like A Male Body Part?

Humor – Amusing, odd. Just a neatly trimmed bush on a nice lawn in a nice conservative neighborhood. And yet....doesn't it look a little like something else, something (maybe) it shouldn't be? (Actually I know the town and this thing caused quite a stir, like the "owners" never knew what hit them.) [Not for everybody.] Pic & caption.

Speling is Overrated (Apparently). A Sign, Outside Top NJ School

Do No Evil – Not entirely fair to judge a school by a single mistake. Still this school system is considered 1 of best in NJ. Doesn't exactly provide a good example. In fact school system is noted for its attention to detail, competitiveness, etc. This sign must've escaped its normally rigorous Quality Control Dept. [Pretty funny IMO; also sad.]

Film Review: The Happening

Movies – M. Night Shyamalan really pulls out all the stops with The Happening, as violent and chilling a vision as you're likely to see or want to see, this year.

School's Out, Summer Vacation. Argh! Need Help Now

Family – Entertaining take on summer "vacation" -- great for kids, but for parents...not so much? Author knows she's being politically incorrect (wishes she weren't) but...she can't help it. Funny, but also real; and at least parts of it lots of parents can probably relate to.

Considerable Summer Concerts

Music – Yes friends, summer is upon us. The cruel winter has waned, and the golden warmth of the sun once again lights the faces of the faithful. Belly tops, flip flops, the cool of shade, Azure skies, lemonade, sandy shorelines, late nights, tiki bars, ice creams, sweet dreams, Bathing suits, sleeping in, ...I love summer and I love summer concerts.
