Spyware ad on MySpace uses top model's photo »

They put Osama's face on the bikini clad body of a top Asian model, and run the ad on MySpace for a spyware infected toolbar from Starware, a known producer of spyware/adware. Questions: Why is MySpace running ads for known spyware/adware? Why does Starware think they can get away with using this model's photo for their ad?

    I guess I can answer my first question myself after I was pointed to this article by Jason Miller at WebProNews and this background investigation by Trent Lapinski. According to them, the MySpace founders have a lot of background in running spam, adware and spyware companies, as well as some interesting relationships with other companies in that business.
