July 17, 2006, 6:36 p.m.There is no doubt that you guys are trying to improve but you missed the boat in nearly every aspect. Goint to Netscape.com on has to click to get anywhere, it looks amaturish, like someone's first attempt at web design. Bottom line is that the new site is simply horrible and I am limiting my use to my mail box till you get it together again.

July 17, 2006, 6:39 p.m.I am not very happy with the new Netscape home page. I no longer use it as my home page due to the fact that it is hard to navigate and just plain useless. Please due us all a favor and go back to the old format...

July 17, 2006, 6:42 p.m.Bring the Old Netscape Back this one totally SUCKS!!! I bet that had you left that poll up for at least few days you would have seen much more response. NETSCAPE just does not want to hear these complaints. GUESS this is why AOL is scrambling to compete with the high-speed Internet that other providers are now offering. YOU BETTER PAY ATTENTION TO THE CUSTOMER AND NOT JSUT YOUR EGO'S TO JUST MAKE CHANGES! At least offer the choice of both the old and this so-called improved crap web page so that either can be ran at the endusers choice!

It's either that or that guy needs to get his head out of his *ahem* and realize he missed the point. Anyway...that's just my opinion. I'm not gonna stop using it cause I like my netscape mail, I just really hate the front page layout......oh well....maybe I'll just learn to deal w/ it.....

July 17, 2006, 6:52 p.m.I'm getting used to it. It certainly is a direct invitation to blog. However there should be some easily accessed page with an ordered list of the all-time vote-getting and comment-attracting stories (at least for the last month).
Then maybe one wouldn't have to see Annie the golden right girl with the "WMD-mouth" every time one logs on.

July 17, 2006, 6:54 p.m.I understand why netscape made the change, but they sold out. This has become a forum for which people can bitch each other out without any real discussion, and has for me become a place to check the pulse of our country. Netscape isn't the problem; it's that this country is flat-lining, and liberals and conservatives alike are to blame. Just read the childish remarks posted on here from both sides. There is no high road on this site, except the one i'm taking off of netscape and onto google. Cheers ;-)
