UK Govt Sources Confirm War With Iran Is On In the last few days, I learned from a credible and informed source that a former senior Labour government Minister, who continues to be well-connected to British military and security officials, confirms that Britain and the United States "... will go to war with Iran before the end of the year."

    I would have voted on this article, but there was not a category for "Pathetic".

    Here we once again have the "credible and informed source" at work....If they are credible and informed, then name them so that we can all be confident of the article's veracity.

    I also note that the author provides a convenient "out" for themself should nothing happen by the end of the year, by noting that plans and schedules can change. I suppose now that should nothing happen until end of year 2016, the author would still be able to claim that their article was correct.

    I have been told by "credible and informed sources" that this article is bunk.

      I went to a forum on the middle east this past weekend. Scott Ritter also predicted that war with Iran is just about a certainty. He thinks it will start shortly after the November elections, because once it starts, the price of a barrel of oil will jump to more than $200 and the US economy will crash.

      Ritter said that the US already has resources in Iran.

      Ray McGovern, former CIA analyst, also at the forum, said that he thinks that there will be a war with Iran too.

      The neocons are drooling for this war. They don't give a damn about it's long term effects. They are dangerous fools.

      William Kristol is one of the worst. He and his colleagues will be seen as a blend of fool and traitor through the eyes of history.
