Dec. 23, 2006, 2:49 a.m.I don't have figures but I think it is really worse than that.
At least a contract provides work and a product, etc. But, there are grants for study, etc. that are direct or indirect to large corp. that ultimately provide profit, using tax dollars for the research,etc. ,that benefits society only in a round about way. Research that could be done by corp. dollars. Talk about a rip.

April 10, 2007, 11:07 a.m.Like they aren't getting enough anyway with how the tax system is leveraged in their favor due to lobbying capital hill. Small business contracts are for who? Small businesses of course! That is ridiculous!
