          Shhhh!!!

          Don't tell the troops!

Imagine if we went to war, destroyed a country, upset a very fragile balance of power in an unstable part of the world, and outright MURDERED 3,000 kids who just wanted to be able to afford college? FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT LIES!!!

Okay, is there a twelve-step program for AA - Authority Abuse? I need some help in setting up an intervention for someone in need. They are a multiple-idea abuser with more than 50% of voters as co-dependent...It's hard, I know, let's just get the help where it's needed.

He's just done the first step, though...

BUSH: Nothing. Except it’s part of — and nobody has suggested in this administration that Saddam Hussein ordered the attack. Iraq was a — Iraq — the lesson of September 11th is take threats before they fully materialize, Ken. Nobody’s ever suggested that the attacks of September the 11th were ordered by Iraq.>>>>

LMAO! What threat was Iraq? Hussein didn't 'like' us? Boy, there's a whole lot of countries in deep doo doo, if that's all it takes to justify attacking another nation.

Many people in these chats are lurking to monitor and manipulate the readers. Some are with law enforcement agencies, other represent media interests and some represent the telephone companies. Alack, the government lurks as well. The far greater percentage are people who have opinions based upon what the news feeds them.

The news is centered in NYC, NY. New York City is the most corrupt town on our planet. New York City is partly to blame for the World Trade Center disaster. Make no mistake about it. The news headquarters of the world are in New York City. The synergy of the media, law enforcement scoundrels, scum covering up for the news media in NYC and the telephone companies is perhaps the most salient reason for the attack(s) on the World Trade Center. All the Presidents who are alive know it. They would rather have book contracts then a congressional hearing about what goes on in the real world.

I want my wife's corpse exhumed. She died when Geo. Bush's father was President.

This isn't the first time he has clearly said this. So this must have been cleared by Dick. We've moved on from that excuse for attacking Iraq. Yet I bet a poll taken today would show little change in those who believe Iraq was involved in 9/11.

Just shows that even his own base does not listen to what he says. Islam "a religion of peace"? No post GW1 WMD's in Iraq? Harriet Myers the "best" nominee for the Court. These are not the positions of the far right.

But of course Bush had NOTHING to do with any of the strategizing involved regarding Iraq, either. He enjoys "plausible deniability" like Reagan or "Kenny Boy" where he can fairly accurately claim he isn't aware of what is going on around him, therefore he cannot be held responsible.

Lets invade Iran next..and follow that up with North Korea.

There's no way the far right and the evangelicals - Bush's Base - can alibi this and smooth it over. Going into Iraq was a grave mistake and it will eventually take down this administration. History will certainly show this was the most corrupt administration so far in U.S. history. Everyone in power enriched himself and threw this country to the dogs. 3000 young American lives lost - and counting.

The reasons for Iraq kept changing.

I think Bush said something vague about Saddam harboring terrorists in general, not that one particular Saudi.

I hope all you dummies who voted for this corrupt, election-stealing, insane with greed, blood-thirsty and stupid administration are happy. America is just getting what it deserves.

OPERATION NORTHWOODS. This document, titled "Justification for U.S. Military Intervention in Cuba" was provided by the JCS to Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara on March 13, 1962, as the key component of Northwoods. Written in response to a request from the Chief of the Cuba Project, Col. Edward Lansdale, the Top Secret memorandum describes U.S. plans to covertly engineer various pretexts that would justify a U.S. invasion of Cuba. These proposals -- part of a secret anti-Castro program known as Operation Mongoose -- included staging the assassinations of Cubans living in the United States, developing a fake "Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington," including "sink[ing] a boatload of Cuban refugees (real or simulated)," faking a Cuban airforce attack on a civilian jetliner, and concocting a "Remember the Maine" incident by blowing up a U.S. ship in Cuban waters and then blaming the incident on Cuban sabotage.

Bush split our troops up making them invade not only Afghanistan but Iraq. He says it was to stop terrorism. Did Iraq ever threaten the United States. The truth is there were far more dangerous places out there that posed a serious threat. Why not North Korea? Bush keeps changing the story. We were spreading democracy. We were getting deadly weapons. We were fighting terrorism. We were liberating the people. Mabey if our troops werent so stretched out all over the bored we'd have caught the man responsible for 9/11 by now.The ignorance of the gov't amazes me.
