Buchanan: Hispanics Are Un-American Because They Embrace 'Rap Culture' »
Posted by: msaleem 3 years, 3 months agoYesterday on Hannity and Colmes, Pat Buchanan asserted that Hispanic immigrants were "not assimilated into America" because they were adopting "rap culture." Rap music, according to the U.S. State Department, is "an original American art form." It has its roots, however, in African-American culture, not white culture.

Many (not all) Mexican immigrants, whether legal or illegal, don't consider themselves American, and expect American society to assimilate to them. Choosing to assimilate to gangs and rap culture is a perverted version of the American Dream. Why are so many of you willing to bend over and take it from these people? Of course there are many others that are hard working individuals just trying to improve their lives. They should be respected (those with paperwork), but these other degenerates aren't American and wouldn't claim to be.

Instead they choose to assimilate to gangs, crime, and violence, all of which rap culture celebrates. I refuse to bend over and take it from people who expect Americans to assimilate to a twisted culture. These people should learn more English than they get from dopey music videos (where are the feminists?)
There are many other Mexican immigrants who are hard working and trying to improve their lives. These should not be linked with lazy thugs and should be respected (those with paperwork). The others aren't American and don't consider themselves American.

Most "white" people I know are not racist, however, they are beginning to be very vocal about illeagal immigration. If muli-culturalism/diversity is something that will balance everything out, why did black people have to sue the Farmer John company for having 1000 Hispanic employees and no blacks? Blacks weren't being hired. People are people. Having been to Uganda, Africa 3 times in the past year, I have found more prejudice amoung people there for the refugees from the Northern wars than I see in the states. Refugee children are called "rebels" and regularly caned and shunned by other students. I know because I have witnessed it myself. And this is black on black. Prejudice is everywhere, and every race has it.

I'm thinking ANYONE who listens to rap(crap) is suspect. I certainly suspect them of having NO taste in music whatsoever. Oops, I put "rap" in the same paragraph with "music." My bad. Sorry.

Aug. 24, 2006, 12:05 p.m.Living in southern Arizona it sickens me people are using stupid analogies... people don't have a clue how bad it is down here..Thees illegals resort to anything to get across and leave death and trash in there wake..I myself work w/ a guy that illegal crosser killed and ate his DOG.... Auto insurance is way to high because the illegals steal anything they can find large enough to fit 20 to 25 illegals into.... They drive 100mph to outrun the border patrol then crash and 11 get killed and the rest are getting free health care...Arizona hospitals are going out of business because more than half of there work is done for free...There has also been drug resistant TB found in illegal border crosser that should scare you.....It is a war zone down here between the drug and people smugglers you don't dare go down close to the border.. Now that there cracking down there getting more and more desperate....Build a wall the cheep workers are not worth it....

Illegal border crosser steal everything destroy the environment and when they get in wrecks they get free health care.... They do sick crap like kill and eat people's dogs..... There is no fence no wall in a lot of places and Arizona and new mexico.... Hospitals down here are going out of biz cause half of there work is done for free....The other day they stole a pickup w/ a shell and fit 25 people in there wrecked it and 11 dead and the rest in hospital beds on our dime.......the cheep workers are not worth it.....
