New ABC Docudrama Blames Clinton For Sept. 11, Praises Bush »

Sept. 1, 2006, 5:52 p.m.Whenever someone comes up with a new conspiracy theory about how Bush either knew about the 9/11 attacks or actually planned them, it is called a though-provoking documentary. When someone collects data that shows it was not his fault and that the blame can just as easily be layed at Clinton's feet it is called a docudrama and brushed aside as propaganda. Can we say hypocritical?

These media companies are owned by huge corperations are huge contributors to republicans.
For years the so called "liberal media" has ignored the obvious fabrications that the bush administration has offered as explanations for 9/11.
And now this? If their perception is so great, why dont they turn it toward exposing the obvious lies we were fed after 9/11? Because that might raise questions as to whether bush really was complicit in allowing if not actually planning the attacks?
When the revolution comes, the propogandists will bear the burden of a lot of animosity I think.

Sept. 1, 2006, 6:47 p.m.The "liberal media" is actually a "conservative media?" I guess if all you watched was Fox News and listened to Rush Limbaugh I could see how you would feel that way. However, watching CNN, ABC, NBC and reading newspapers like the New York Times, Washington Post, and LA Times, I think it is a hard sell to think that they actually want and support a Republican president. No matter what party you affiliate with that is a hogwash statement.

Sept. 1, 2006, 9:30 p.m.I'd like to point out that our funding and support of Bin-Laden was from Dec 1979 to early 1989. The CIA pulled out in 1992. I think this time period was a little before President Clinton. It seems that the Reagan Admistration gave these people weapons and training during that time period. Bin-Laden did not start new active efforts there until 1996. So it seems that our prime suspect was equiped and trained by us. If one remembers who was president from 1980 to 1988 and who then was in charge from 1988 until 1992 I think you might find President Clinton had a big steaming pile laid at his feet too. I see that is carefully left out of some of these comments. I will assume that George H.W. Bush had as much chance to stop Bin-Laden as did clinton. He knew the man was armed and dangerous. And he knew the Russians were out. Crap the man was a former CIA director...you can't imagine he suspected nothing? All Clintons fault? I think not. Yeah I can say hypocritical.

It was clintons fault that bush spent the first 9 months of his presidency on vacation.
It was clintons fault that bush refused to hold any meetings on counter-terrorism - and liked to refer to Richard Clarke, the counter-terrorism expert of the past 2 admins, as "chicken little"
It was clintons fault that bush and rice ignored that fated memo titled : "Osama Bin Laden Determined to Attack the United States".
It was clintons fault that bush disabled the entire country's air defenses on September 11th for "War games" and "Hijacking drills". And then never investigated the amazing coincidence that the terrorists would use that particular day for their attacks.
It was clintons fault that there was never an independant investigation into 9/11 - the largest crime ever committed on US soil.
I had no idea clinton was so amazingly powerful that he was still running the country 9 months after leaving office. Thanks :

Sept. 2, 2006, 12:19 a.m.I love it when the RepliCAN'Ts try to pin the blame on Clinton for their own mistakes. It's only because the 2000 election was stolen from Gore that they can't blame him, or it'd be his face on the target.
Let's be honest, people: Clinton conducted a war that Repubs in Congress labeled "a quagmire" before we even got there (does anyone remember Bosnia?). He was able to end a real genocide and remove a tyrant from power with NO loss of American military, other than our own screwed-up Apache helos crashing. Ten years later, the region is calm and recovering, and is policed by Europeans.
That's what really sticks in the Repub craw: the fact Clinton was successful in war where their own evil cabal (GWB-DC-DR) is so inept. The biggest military fiasco in Clinton's admin was the tragedy of Mogadishu, which was instigated, if you forgot, by GHWB in December of 2000. Sort of a "Welcome to the White House" gift for the New Pres from the Old Pres.
The solution: vote Democratic and IMPEACH!!

It showed that both the Clinton administration, the FBI, the FAA, the CIA and the Bush administration failed us. There was enough blame to go around and no one person or group of persons was at fault...except maybe Al Quada

Maybe people should watch "Loose Change" (available on the Internet for free). This docudrama will have sponsors, and I'll TIVO this one but this time I’ll skip over the docudrama and take note of the commercial sponsors I will never purchase from again. It should be interesting, I’ve never seen an ad for Haliburten before.

If you want to see how 9/11 was able to happen you have to look at how Dumbya radically altered the national security complex from the earliest days of his illegitimate, appointed presidency.
Go to the National Security Presidential Directive #1, executed under Dumbya's signature on February 13, 2001.
The NSPD-1, redirected intelligence away from inter-agency sharing and stovepiped it up to the National Security Council (then Chaired by Condi Rice). The executive order also forbade the FBI director from attending NSC meetings except by express invitation.
Thus in one stroke Dumbya eliminates cripples our intelligence agencies and our domestic security apparatus.
The NSPD-1 goes further: it merges the Nat'l Economic Council with the NSC - thus placing the intelligence and military capabilities of the US at the disposal of a transnational corporate elite.

Sept. 2, 2006, 5:50 a.m.Btw, no matter how the Repugnants try to twist reality, you can never escape from the fact that Dumbya was on the longest first year vacation in US presidential history, during which he received an 11.5 page briefing warning of imminent aviation terrorism: he dropped the ball or worse.
The NSPD-1 mentioned earlier not only crippled the intelligence community and our security corps ability to effectively interdict terrorists, but it also allowed intelligence to be cooked by the Dumbya dictatorship.
So the bottom line is, except for the fuzzy story that the gov't has spewed about who and what was responsible for 9/11, there isn't a lot of hard evidence that backs its conspiracy theory. On closer scrutiny, very damaging evidence is exposed: this is why the Dumbya dictatorship has blocked every inquiry and investigation and why it has destroyed evidence and why it has gagged whistleblowers. Even the FBI admits that it has no hard evidence linking ObL to 9/11.
