Disney is now fingerprinting visitors to Walt Disney World as part of its ticket-fraud prevention scheme. [via BoingBoing.net]

Disney is only scanning the fingerprints, not storing the images of them. They measure the distance between unique points in the finger print and then via a mathmatical forumula come up with a 'score' that represents the finger print. If you try to use the card again your score has to equal the score previously recorded on the card.
My problem with this is that no one is allowed to verify that Disney is actually doing as they say and not keeping the data for more than 30 days after the ticket expires (and what does that mean if you buy a non-expiring ticket and never use the last day). And can the 'score' be used to link your WDW data to other finger printing data that the FBI or NSA might have on you.

wtf disney is suppose to stand for tolerance and they wont tolerate people sneaking into their park sounds a little hypocriticL to me with disney these people should be tolerated and welcomed see i knew the left were filled with hypocrits

Once again the Orwellians win a throw and we lose yet another piece of our Constitutional rights! And from Disney, no less!
People need to realize that racial profiling, fingerprint scanning and ID scanning is only as good as the person or persons in charge of the collected data.
Do you folks really want to take a chance on some disgruntled employee having access to your personal information?
