I sent this internal note to a bunch of folks at AOL earlier today... sort of an update on the state of Netscape and what we've learned about the 1, 19, and 80%. After thinking about it for 27 seconds I realized that this is the kind of stuff I used to post to my blog and i figured I would share with y'all.

    worker:LOL!

with rare exception the navigators havent impressed me one bit. okitech and his avatar contest has been the only true effort in uniting the community. and he's not even a navigator. the concept of higher, middle class (and lower class?) might rub some the wrong way.

      Hey worker,

Regarding the email: that transition has nothing to do with the Netscape.com social news site, which is the subject of Jason's post and this story. I, however, am concerned about many of the problems people have been experiencing in that transition, so I am attempting to find some clear answers as to whom you can address problems and receive some sort of legitimate answer. The closest response I have so far is the following: "According to Member Services, the issues can be reported by calling either 800-827-6364 or 800-466-5463. They will need to request a representative and that representative can send a host problem report of the issue to Member Services."
