The 66-year-old California liberal stands to become the first woman to lead the House of Representatives if she and fellow Democrats win control of the chamber from Bush's Republicans.

I'm a woman and an officer. Frankly, she scares the hell out of me. I spent time in CA and pound per pound; she'd give an F18 a run when it comes to hot air. What scares me most is her being third in line if things continue on the present course.
