    This raises two issues.

the internet started because it allowed free communication without censorship or control, the way you might freely talk amongst friends or colleagues. people who have something to hide therefore for fear of censorship or litigation or downright criminal/ seditious activity have also enjoyed a 'veil'. the arguments from pressure groups 'vulnerable user' groups to monitor/ police traffic is totally understandable and yet, who draws the line is the question. who can spy on traffic and what for should be publically be available so that 'abuse' against vulnerable persons and everyday human rights is balanced.
