Cinematical Seven: Sci-Fi Movies You Should Be Watching »

I also realize that two of these films feature Charlton Heston. What can I tell you -- the man knows good sci-fi material when he reads it.

I just wish the DVD cover didn't give away the ending though. Or maybe they were thinking: everyone knows about that; it's the movie's iconic image, so it's okay.

Feb. 14, 2007, 10:05 p.m.I am suprised that no one mentioned Forbidden Planet. It was early, but smartly made. As for TV, I liked watching Lexx. It was very organic.
