Nov. 3, 2006, 9:36 a.m.Isn't this guy one of Bush's closest spiritual advisors? Ever wonder if Bush.....?
The prostitute said Haggard paid him $200 to $300 a "pop" for "services". So THAT'S where all those church contributions went!!
Haggard? Phew, I'll bet he's exhausted!!
Is Haggard changing his name to Pastor Phil McCrackin?
Enough!

Nov. 3, 2006, 11:25 a.m.For those trying to deny, save your breath:
"...senior church officials told KKTV 11News Thursday evening, Pastor Ted Haggard has admitted to some of the claims made by a former male escort. The church's Acting Senior Pastor, Ross Parsley, tells KKTV 11 News that Pastor Haggard has admitted to some of the indiscretions claimed by Mike Jones..."

Nov. 2, 2006, 8:39 p.m.Unbelievable!
This self rightous smug con man has been one of the major
components in Roves selling the neocons to the the "religous right". The joke about the Gay old Party appears to be true. (Not that there's anything wrong with that)... Yes there is! I don't care about his sex life but to condemn everyone else to hell if they disagree with this smug bas****, and have those boot camps for children indoctrinating them with who knows what, in the name of "god".
Heaven ...Republican Free since 63
Outragous!

Nov. 2, 2006, 8:47 p.m.Well I suppose I should wait until we hear more about this before I break into hysterical laughter. This guy was one of Bush's closest spiritual advisers.
The male prostitute claims to have some incriminating phone messages. They should be very interesting.

Nov. 3, 2006, 12:33 p.m.truth only
you were talking about hypocrites in church, well I know we have them in churches but they are also other places as well. I would rather sit by a hypocrite in church and go to Heaven rather than not sit with them and go to Hell. I'm in no way saying you are going to Hell because you quit going to church, just would like to see you back in church because we deal with hypocrites no matter where we are.
God Bless & have a great day.

Nov. 3, 2006, 1:16 p.m.onedrop.. I think most people would rather be in the real world with a hypocrite than to sit in a church and subscribe to a medieval mindset of everlasting fire, brimstone, and torment for those who don't 'get with the program'.
How can anybody be so sure they have the right religion that they threaten others with imaginary pain if they don't convert? What makes the Bible true and the Koran not? Why is Jesus' supposed message in the New Testament so similar to Buddhist literature written some 500 years before? Why do so many of the Christian Right distort the fact that most of the founding fathers of the U.S. were Deists(no hell) or agnostics and not Christians? When will people wake up and realize that religion is the biggest problem in the world today?

Nov. 2, 2006, 9:43 p.m.Well, well .... how about that? More of the "moral values" and "people of faith" party being outed as hypocrites.
I can't pull up the rocky mountain story, but I did go to the Fox story.
The people that are the most vocal to ban gay marriage because it is so 'sinful' and such a 'bad' influence on good people do seem to be the biggest hypocrites in the end.
I guess a lot of those folks forget one of Jesus' most famous statments - "he who is without sin can cast the first stone ...".

Nov. 2, 2006, 9:44 p.m.This is the same guy in the Jesus Boot Camp movie!

Nov. 3, 2006, 1:55 p.m.What a day and what a story!
I would be interested to know what his weekly flock at the White House has to say about this! May be Karl Rove can spin this into something more sinister!!!!
We call the Islamic Madrassas evil!
How should we describe the Jesus Camp where little children are brainwashed by an evil person like this?
Like all sinning preachers, he will probably go down on his knees asking for repentance! Watch out! There may be somebody behind him!!! LOL.

Nov. 3, 2006, 11:05 a.m."...Haggard is a firm supporter of President George W. Bush, and is often credited with rallying evangelicals behind Bush during the 2004 election.[4] Jeff Sharlet reports that Haggard "talks to... Nov. 2, 2006, 10:40 p.m.I tried to submit the same story in the News channel since there doesn't seem to be one for Humor. If it's true (and the rapidity with which he quit leads me to believe it to be) he should be forced to have a red H (for hypocrite) tattooed on his forehead and forced to confess his sins on the Bill O'Reilly show.
